
SNITTS-Swedish Network for Innovation and Technology Transfer Support is an association of persons engaged in knowledge and technology exchange (Technology Transfer).
SNITTS was initiated in May 2009 as the first tech transfer organization in Sweden building on individual membership and a broad definition of the tech transfer concept.
SNITTS is an association of persons engaged in knowledge and technology exchange (Technology Transfer). The organization focuses on the professional role Tech Transfer Professional. Today SNITTS has 300 members, approximately growing by 100 members per year so far. Members come from universities, industry, service providers, research funding agencies, the Swedish government, research institutes and other organizations sharing the vision of SNITTS.
SNITTS activities includes organizing the tech transfer week in Sweden which encompasses more than 15 organizations organizing the event. SNITTS also give courses, put together discussion seminars, arrange study trips for members, provides documents such as tools, examples of best practice and other useful information.
The focus of SNITTS is to be useful to its members and respond to needs and requests that are along the lines of SNITTS mission.
SNITTS has individual membership and the members may be present in all traditional disciplines, both in academia, industry, institutions and in the public sector. The organization focuses on the professional role Tech Transfer Professional.
Members of SNITTS get support in their profession, access to exchange of experience and best practice, networking, discussion forums, the ability to start or join Special Interest Groups (SIG) and education at reduced prices.
