SNITTS courses and masterclasses are created for people who work with supportive measures for the utilization of results from research and development, including commercialization, for example, innovation agencies, institutions or companies. SNITTS course committee is responsible for creating and designing courses for members.
A Special Interest Group (SIG) can be created by members to discuss or work with specific interest, subjects, questions or issues.
There are no limits of how small or big a SIG can be or for how long the SIG must exist. Only SNITTS members can create a SIG or be members in a SIG.
The SIG is run by members on voluntary basis but SNITTS can organize the meetings and cover food and venue expenses. If the SIG´s come to any results or new methods or tools it can be posted as good practice at SNITTS website.
SNITTS arranges study tours with the aim of creating better understanding of other organizations, regions or nations, methods, tools and practices in tech transfer.
Study tours are arranged in collaboration with other organizations, or as pure SNITTS activity and can be implemented as pure ordering task.
Good practice refers to the processes, methods, tools and systems that are performing well and is widely known to improve the organization's performance and efficiency in the show areas. The websites inside are a tool for SNITTS members and here you will find over 110 good practise documents for download
SNITTS participates in and organizes several conferences. For example SNITTS hosted ASTP's Annual Conference in Stockholm in 2011 and were the co-organizer of the CIP Forum in Gothenburg 2011.
Innovation by Collaboration is a big conference week held each year, in week 36, it was initiated by SNITTS in 2010.
SNITTAR with SNITTS is a new concept with discussions about hot topics. Observe, SNITTAR means canapés in Swedish :-)
The discussions will be held in Swedish if English is not requested specifically. The seminars are free of charge for members, non-members 500 SEK.
